Blue lotus (aka Egyptian Lotus or Blue Water Lily) is a very rare essential oil. The oil is high in squalane, which is the body's natural chemical for moisture and hydration. Combined with shea butter, it makes for a very creamy lather.
It's hard to describe the scent of blue lotus. Its floral, sweet, and delightful.
We attempted to mimic the blue color of the flower by using indigo powder, and the yellow pollen by using carrot.
