We had always dreamed of having chickens, but our busy work schedules wouldn’t allow it. Then March 2020 happened and 6 baby chicks found their way into our hearts and den. A neighbor “saved” a baby duck and added Quarintina to the brooder in our den and the rest is history! Our 3 young sons have learned so much by building the coops, feeding and watering the flock, gathering eggs, watching mommas sit and babies hatch, holding all the babies, delivering eggs to friends, and have experienced so much joy watching the ducks waddle to and from the pond and the chickens play in the yard.
Our birds free range, but start their day with a few handfuls of their favorite dried mealworms and scratch. They have Nutrena and Ranch Pro crumbles always in their feeders, but their favorite foods are fresh watermelon and corn that they eat right out of the boys' hands. Our eggs are not only beautiful, but they also taste excellent. Duck eggs make all of your baked goods so fluffy and light! You won’t want to go back once you taste the difference!
In 2007, Spence & Carla started Across the Creek Farm with 30 hens and a overgrown piece of land in a holler south of Fayetteville. Spence started clearing land, using sweat and a chainsaw to flush out a combat tour in Iraq as an Army machine gunner.
Over a decade later, the power of poultry, pasture, movement, and a great family to produce a ultra-local, radically better tasting bird is well-known in Northwest Arkansas. Their flocks are fed locally milled Non-GMO feed made from Arkansas grains and all the bugs and greens they can eat. They move their birds every day, and this commitment to movement not only means lots of grass and bugs for the birds to eat, but also a clean place to live so no need for the typical crazy antibiotics or off-label drugs. In 2016, they partnered with B&R Processing in Winslow to build a USDA inspected poultry processing operation, and they hand-butcher and air-chill their own birds weekly.
Their chicken, pork, and eggs are used across NWA by the families and chefs that want the best chicken available, not just a laundry list of deceptive packaging claims. When you buy from Across the Creek Farm, you buy the best from a neighbor family, and they appreciate it!
I am originally from Bethany, Oklahoma, and now live in Fort Smith, AR. I have always loved art. When I was a child my favorite gift was a new box of crayons and a coloring book. Around the age of 7, I asked my dad how to draw a tree. He showed me and that started my love of drawing trees. When drawing, I love trees and when painting, I love clouds.
My background is in recreational therapy. I worked as the assistant executive director at the Oklahoma Foundation for the Disabled. I found this was where my heart belonged. I continued over the years to work with people with disabilities. I gained so much knowledge from these individuals and am thankful for the time I was able to work with this population. I am now retired, and volunteer at the ARC of River Valley, here in Fort Smith.
Baker Bice Farmsteading is the private label for Farmers Market Direct.

Blackberry Hill Farms is located in Rich Hill, Missouri. Their establishment is a small, family oriented Old Order Mennonite business that still believes in doing everything the old way; no electricity, no motors. Their jams and jellies are even cooked by wood-fired kettles. Their goal is not to improve on the flavors of nature, but to get as close as they can to the real thing. Farmers Market Direct is proud to offer their products and think they fully embrace our slogan "Back to Basics".
Jessica Blanzy a native of River Valley, Jim a transplant from the midwest found a love for the city of Fort Smith and all it has to offer. Jessica and Jim met through a mutual friend and have been together ever since. Jim has a passion for cooking and loves to experiment with food. He was unable to find the mushrooms he was interested in so we started growing mushrooms in our home during Covid.
In the fall of 2021, the hunt for a bigger space to grow for the public started. We searched for just the right place and after several months signed a lease in January of 2022.
Jessica handles the operations side of the mushrooms and Jim handles all maintenance and engineering requirements for the farm.
We have definitely been enjoying our time so far as mushroom farmers and being able to provide a locally sourced product to our community.

Serving up Southern BBQ that’s true to regional traditions while still creating unique, reimagined flavors is an art form in itself. And with our restaurants and a variety of sauces, rubs, chips and more – we’re excited to show you why it's unlike anything you’ve ever tasted.
Mundi Sauce LLC, a family business located in the small tourist town of Eureka Springs, Arkansas began with a recipe and an idea.

Pasture-raised pork is better for the health of the land, the health of animals, and the health of you and your family.
Natural Dam Pastures was started in 2021 by Zac and Abby Corter and Shaun and Jennifer Senter. In 2017, Zac and Abby Corter and their two sons started with a small 4-acre farm in Garfield Arkansas, and started growing Mangalitsa pigs and chickens to sell to friends and family.
Influenced by Joel Salatin with the regenerative permaculture and wanting the best food for their children, Shaun and Jennifer decided they wanted to partner with Zac and Abby to make a dream of raising their own organic meat possible. The farm moved to Natural Dam Pastures in 2021 where Zac and Abby live.
Currently, the farm has pasture-raised Mangalitsa pigs and chickens. Animals are raised in pastures without antibiotics and hormones. They live happily in their natural environment which, as we know, is under the beautiful sky and natural sunlight that grows lush green grass here in Arkansas.
Natural Way fit the lifestyle of its two founders, Austin and Quinn. As the company launched in the middle of 2018, placing an emphasis on eating healthy and environmental sustainability was very important. We also ate a LOT of nut butter. We saw a void for flavorful nut butters that offered little sugar and that didn’t have palm oil. Making our nut butter with olive oil allowed for a sustainable and healthy option! We were passionate about bringing high quality and unique products that represented the Natural Way brand and that passion made launching Natural Way together a lifelong dream come true.

Pozza’s Artisan Handcrafted Italian Pasta is handmade daily by us in small batches, using locally sourced fresh eggs and a specially milled unbleached flour sourced from high-quality American farms that create the perfect texture in a pasta - not too hard, not too soft. We have perfecting dough kneading and do it minimally to achieve the perfect consistency. The pasta dough is then hand pressed over and again into sheets until it forms into the perfect thickness for our specialty noodles. Pozza's has no added salt, oils, preservatives, chemicals or additives. Just natural fresh ingredients, made in the old style.
The Pasta Dies (Extruders):
As pasta artisans, we shape and form our fresh pasta dough using traditional bronze die cuts, which create a distinct porous texture on the pasta, far different than commercially made noodles. This texturing allows the pasta to retain more sauce beautifully, leading to a robust, flavorful experience. Commercially produced pasta is extruded and shaped through plastic Teflon dies which create a smooth surface pasta that releases most of its starch into the water and doesn’t absorb the sauce.
The Drying Process:
Just like our Italian ancestors, we slowly air dry our pasta at low temperatures on wooden racks, not overly-dried with microwaves as in commercial processing. This creates a perfect outer crust on the surface of the pasta. The result is a full-flavored pasta because the integrity of the wheat and fresh ingredients have been preserved, naturally! Unlike commercially produced pastas, no chemicals or high-heat processes are used to speed up the drying time.
At Pozza's, we are passionate about making pasta an extraordinary eating experience and here’s why – the kitchen is the gathering spot for families and friends alike, and for good reason. It’s where stories are told, hearts meld, and memories are created – all around a flavorful dish of pasta. We are delighted to share the bold, beautiful flavors of true old-world Italy with you through our line of Pozza’s Artisan Handcrafted Italian Pastas. We hope you enjoy eating our pasta as much as we enjoy making it!
Welcome to our kitchen and buon appetit!

Rustic Strength is a family-owned and operated company.
Our beliefs are simple, what you pour into the earth you will get out of the earth. My husband and I created Rustic Strength out of a need to reduce harmful chemicals out of our families lives.
My son started showing signs of sensitivities at the age of 18 months. He collapsed in his Aunt Beth's arms one day on the way to church. We rushed him to the hospital. We went six months without finding answers. He then started having other issues relating to his skin and lungs. He would have anaphylaxis reactions to random things at random times. We had epi-pens stored everywhere because we just never knew what he was going to react to. We decided to take drastic measures. We removed all the carpet, all fake plants, all feather pillows, and all foods with dyes. We changed all our cleaning products to hypoallergenic and he would still have reactions. We learned so much from chasing his illness.
I, Alicia, started having endocrine issues around the age of 40. I started looking hard into products along with the food that I was eating. I am a retired personal trainer so my nutrition was pretty spot on (pollotarian). I took a deeper dive into all the chemicals in my cleaning products, body, and hair care products. I started researching all the chemicals (before it was cool) in all the products. It was hard to find the information needed to make really good decisions. Unlike today where there is a lot of information.
I finally got frustrated enough that my husband and I started experimenting with our own laundry detergent. It took months and months of work to finalize our first real product. We then tested it for over two years before deciding to make a company out of the knowledge we have and the drive to help others lead a better life with better chemicals in there products.
My husband and I knew when we launched our company that we wanted to be different than all the big box store brands. We looked toward our local health food store about starting a refill exchange program. At first, they where not so on board. However, we found another refill shop that was just opening their doors and we aligned perfectly with each others mission.
We offered a close the loop program with all of our customers from the conception of our business. We didn't have to be asked to change our manufacturing procedures. We had in place a lot of sustainable practices and we keep finding new ways to help reduce our impact on the environment.
Our goal is to provide clean, safe products for you and your family. Using only certified, clean scents and essential oils, our products are free from phthalates and carcinogens. These soy blend candles are hand-poured, small batch, and locally made.
Our cattle are raised in Mulberry Arkansas without the use of antibiotics or hormones. We have been raising cattle for 15 years, and it has only been grass fed. With grass fed beef your are going to get higher amounts antioxidants, vitamins, and CLA. In turn you are getting a more tender, juicy and sweet meat.
About 5 years ago, a love for baking turned into more than a hobby as my children jumped headfirst into the world of competitive sports. We learned as a family how to adjust recipes to make them our own and were even able to incorporate recipes passed down for generations. We now bake as a family and love the togetherness it provides.
As the world around us has abruptly changed, we have adapted and begun to learn a new skill, canning! We are able to create our own delicious foods that can be stored for times when fresh produce is not available and my children are learning a skill that is dying. It is our hope that more people can learn to do this and be able to sustain themselves in this everchanging economy.
All of our products are baked, canned, and packaged in our home in Ozark, AR. God’s blessing of our beautiful community provides an understated atmosphere of kindness, grace, and love we intend to share through all of our products. We can be contacted through email at email@example.com for direct orders.
*In an effort to reduce waste we ask that jars and rings be returned after use.

Sprigz Farms was established with a simple question: “What can we do to help everyone get away from processed foods?” Our answer was to make our own organically grown foods. Microplastics and other added chemicals in our food today is a problem. With indoor farms, we aim to cut out pesticides and chemicals that are harmful to ours and your loved ones. Our mission is to bring healthy, organically grown foods to everyone we can reach. The vision could not be possible without our loyal customers. The company was founded with YOU, the people in mind.
